German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht announced her refusal to supply Fuchs armored personnel carriers to Ukraine. The minister referred to the interests of the country's security, writes Bild.

"We support Ukraine with everything in our power. But we must provide Germany with the ability to defend itself," she stressed, noting that "plundering the reserves of the Budneswehr" at such a time would be irresponsible.

In addition to the head of the German Defense Ministry, German General Eberhard Zorn spoke about the impossibility of delivering Fuchs armored personnel carriers to Kiev.

In addition, Germany is negotiating the supply of weapons to Ukraine with the authorities of Poland, Greece, Slovakia and Slovenia, so that the listed countries receive German weapons in exchange.
