Boris Johnson, who announced his resignation, promised in a conversation with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky that even after his resignation from the post of prime Minister, the UK will continue to support Ukraine. This was announced by the office at 10 Downing Street following talks between representatives of the two countries.
In addition, Johnson assured Zelensky that London would supply Kiev with the necessary weapons.
"The Prime Minister pointed to the unwavering cross-party British support of President Zelensky's people and stated that the UK will continue to supply the necessary defensive assistance for as long as necessary," the report said.

The political scientist suggested that during the telephone conversation, Johnson would try to assure Zelensky that the British intend to continue supporting Ukraine regardless of personalities, to supply weapons and other assistance. But Dudakov believes that this will be a half-truth.
